Steps to make Navratan Bhog Khichri:
  1. Cut all vegetables in small pieces
  2. Put dal in a pressure cooker with water, 1 pinch turmeric and close cover. Cook for 15 minutes on medium flame.
  3. Wash rice nicely. Heat ghee in a karahi. Add tej patta, elaichi, Laung etc. After 1 minute add rice in Karachi and fry for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Now fry potato, carrots, French Bean, cauliflower.
  5. Take a vessel. Heat on gas and put cooked Dal with water in it. Add fried rice and all masala. Add tomatoes, palak, cabbage and salt. Keep flame of gas on medium.
  6. Stir continuously. After 10 minutes add fried potatoes, carrots, radish, cauliflower and teen matar.
  7. After approx 10-15 minutes it will be fully cooked. Navratan Bhog Khichri is ready.
  8. Serve with Green Coriander chutney and sweet tomatoes chutney.
