- Prepare 125 gm arwa rice
- Make ready 100 gm Chana dal + Masoor Dal

- Prepare 3 Chhoti elaichi

- Make ready 1 piece Dalchini
- Get 2 Tej patta
- Prepare Jaytri
- Take 2 Potato

- Get Green matar
- Get 4 French bean
- Take 1 Tomato
- Get 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- Prepare 1 tsp Coriander powder
- Get 1 tsp Cumin powder
- Take 1 tsp Garam masala
- Get 1 tsp Kashmiri mirch
- Take 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- Take 50 gm Ghee
- Prepare Salt
The Bengali mixed-veg delight is one of the Durga Puja bhog staples. Steps to make Navratan Bhog Khichri:
- Cut all vegetables in small pieces
- Put dal in a pressure cooker with water, 1 pinch turmeric and close cover. Cook for 15 minutes on medium flame.
- Wash rice nicely. Heat ghee in a karahi. Add tej patta, elaichi, Laung etc. After 1 minute add rice in Karachi and fry for 4-5 minutes.
- Now fry potato, carrots, French Bean, cauliflower.
- Take a vessel. Heat on gas and put cooked Dal with water in it. Add fried rice and all masala. Add tomatoes, palak, cabbage and salt. Keep flame of gas on medium.
- Stir continuously. After 10 minutes add fried potatoes, carrots, radish, cauliflower and teen matar.
- After approx 10-15 minutes it will be fully cooked. Navratan Bhog Khichri is ready.
- Serve with Green Coriander chutney and sweet tomatoes chutney.
