Method For palak methi na muthia. Add the bottle gourd and cover the pan with a lid. Remove the lid and check if the pieces have turned tender. Top with remaining coriander leaves and serve with chapati.
Steps to make Spinach bottle guard muthiya:
- Take a bowl add all flours add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, dhaniya powder, green chilli paste, spinch puree, grated bottle guard, oil, sugar, and lemon juice mix well and make dough and steam until cook well.
- After cool down cut into pieces and for tempering take a pan add oil, mustard seeds, sesame seeds, curry leaves, ashpetidia and add muthiya mix well garnish with coriander serve with ketchup or tea.
Take washed spinach and methi leaves in a bowl. Meanwhile prepare steamer to steam muthias. Add about ½ inch of water in steamer and let it come to simmer on medium heat. Lightly oil the steamer dish (it should have some holes in it.). keep it side till needed. You can substitute Spinach with other vegetables such as shredded Bottle Gourd (Loki) or Zucchini, and finely chopped Fenugreek Leaves or Cabbage.
