Lumpia recipes are flexible and you can add or subtract whatever you want. Traditionally the raw meat is mixed with the spices, rolled, and cooked. One advantage to precooking the meat is you can add more spices/ingredients to taste after the meat is cooked.

Instructions to make BLM Lumpia:
  1. Cook ground chicken partially add above ingredients to taste
  2. Cook ground beef until brown add season to taste
  3. Prepare egg roll wrapper by laying flat on wax paper
  4. Mix water and egg in bowl until blended the using a spoon apply to corners of wrapper to moisten
  5. Use either chicken or ground beef or both and fill center of wrapper.
  6. Fold both left and right corners over filling
  7. Take bottom flap and lay over two folded corners
  8. Pinch corners and roll until wrap is sealed forming a roll.
  9. In a sauté pan add cooking oil and place on medium until oil is hot then add lumpia cooking sides until crisp and brown then remove allow to cool then serve them joints.
  10. Finished product should be nice firm crispy golden brown lumpia. Don’t be jocking the cookies in the background that’s another recipe for another day lol enjoy remember these Jant’s is hot as hell please allow to cool before trying to bite into one you will regret it…

Before I remove the final mixture from the stove I will add dashes of soy sauce, oyster. Carefully place four to five lumpia at a time in the hot oil. Note: If the lumpia are cooking too fast or burning, reduce the heat. Remove the lumpia from the oil and drain on a wire rack or paper towels. Sprinkle with a garnish of cilantro and serve with sweet chili dipping sauce.
