So to make this mushroom gravy start off cooking the chopped onion and mushrooms in olive oil, butter or pan drippings (your choice). - Reduce heat to low/med. And simmer untill reduced by half. Stirring occasionally. Basically when you use flour in soups and gravy's you want to let it simmer for at least a 1/2 hour too cook off the floury taste.
- And there you go easy basic mushroom gravy. Serve with beef and or pork. Hope you enjoy. Celery and fresh thyme are great additions to the gravy.
- Would of included the meatloaf but Mrs. Grass onion soup mix has it on the box. "Long week"felt a little lazy so i took the quick route on the loaf.
