  1. Take 1 cup maida(all purpose flour)
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup cabbage (finely chopped)
  3. Prepare 1/2 cup soya granules
  4. Make ready 1/2 teaspoon soya sauce
  5. Make ready as per taste Salt
  6. Take As per taste Red chilli powder(optional)
  7. Make ready as per taste Black pepper powder
  8. Make ready 1 onion (finely chopped)
  9. Take 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic paste

From last few years, Momos are getting very popular in other parts of India and you can easily prepare them at home by either steaming or deep frying. When I used to stay in India, we (my husband and I) found a Momos Vendor in our area who used to make soya momos. I was so thrilled when we came to know that we have a good vegetarian option for momos! Cabbage, carrots, spring onion greens, ginger, garlic and soya granules Rolled dough and cut it into thin discs using a cookie cutter.

Steps to make Soya cabbage momos:
  1. Take maida and add 1 teaspoon oil, a pinch of pepper and salt to taste and knead it into a soft dough. And keep it aside.
  2. Heat up the pan add some water and let it boil. When it boils add soya granules and put the flame off. Now take aside and remove water from it.
  3. Heat up pan add some oil. When oil gets heated up add onion(don't let it cook) saute it and add garlic paste and mix it well then add cabbage, soya granules, pepper, red chilli powder, salt and soya sauce and mix it well.
  4. Don't let it cook only stir it for 1-2 mins.
  5. Now take some water in a pan and let it boil and apply some oil to a strainer and put it into the pan so that it doesn't touch the water surface. (don't do it if you have steamer just get your steamer ready)
  6. Now take small section of dough and roll it into small roti or make big one and cut it into round with help of lid or mould.
  7. Apply some water to edges. Now fill stuffing into it and give it shape of your choice. Put it into strainer and put lid on pan. let it cook in the steam.
  8. Serve hot with Schezwan chutney

Now as fillings, throw into a bowl Fortune Soya Granules, spring onion, cabbage and some ginger. Also add a dash of salt, black pepper, soya sauce and vinegar. Roll the dough properly and include the fillings inside. For making this veg momos filling mainly cabbage, carrot, spring onion, and ginger-garlic are used to sauteed in oil with dark soya sauce, vinegar, and pepper-salt seasoning. Though momo is actually a Tibetan dish, gradually Nepal, Bhutan, and India's northeast states influenced by it.
