Making this green pasta is actually a lot easier than you think. Homemade green pasta dough is just as easy to make at home as regular fresh pasta.
Raw Spinach Pasta is one of the most popular of current trending meals on earth. It’s simple, it’s fast, it tastes yummy. It is enjoyed by millions daily. Raw Spinach Pasta is something which I have loved my entire life. They are fine and they look fantastic.
To get started with this particular recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook raw spinach pasta using 6 ingredients and 10 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.
The ingredients needed to make Raw Spinach Pasta:
- Get 200 grams Bread flour
- Get 1 Coarsely ground black pepper (optional)
- Prepare 2 bunches ☆Spinach
- Take 1 ☆Egg
- Take 2 tbsp ☆Olive oil
- Get 1 ☆Water
Plunge the spinach into the water, and cook until it wilts, less than a minute. Drain quickly, allowing some water to cling to the pasta, and toss pasta and spinach in the bowl with the garlic and olive mixture. Season with salt and pepper, and serve. Rinse the spinach well, drain briefly and place the damp spinach in a large fry pan.
Instructions to make Raw Spinach Pasta:
- Before rinsing, weigh about 55-60 g of spinach.
- Rinse the spinach and parboil it (alternatively, you can wrap it in plastic wrap and microwave it). Trim off the stalks. You will only be using the leaves (the photo shows the trimmed off stalks below the leaves).
- Take the leaves from Step 2 and blend them in a food processor or grind them with a mortar and pestle until they're paste-like.
- Combine the ☆ ingredients, the spinach paste, egg, and olive oil and mix. The combined weight should be 155 g. Adjust the amount of water as necessary.
- Mix in the flour and pepper with the mixture from Step 4 and knead. (Gradually add water a little at a time until it reaches your desired firmness.)
- Divide the dough into 4 portions and then let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
- Then, just roll it out and cut it. Slice it into roughly 6 mm thick fettuccine-like strands.
- Add salt to a pot full of water and boil the pasta for about 2-2.5 minutes. Adjust the boiling time until it reaches your desired firmness.

- You can use the leftover stalks from the spinach to make a salad.
Drain in a sieve under cold running water. All you need is Gluten-free Pasta, Homemade Basil Pesto, fresh Baby Spinach and Cherry Tomatoes. You simply cook the pasta, make the basil pesto and saute the tomatoes while the pasta is cooking, and then after draining the pasta, toss the cooked pasta, pesto, spinach and tomatoes all in the same. Toss your pasta with garden-fresh greens including celery, spinach, and capers for a wholesome one-bowl meal. I often need more than half a cup of the pasta water, but this could be due to living at high altitude.
