Steps to make Palak Paneer Pulao:
  1. Microwave broccoli and peas with water in microwave-safe close container for around 3 mins and keep aside
  2. Wash and soak rice for 20 mins in water. Boil them in water until cooked. Drain excess water and keep aside.
  3. Put raw spinach into mixer and blend into puree, keep aside.
  4. Heat ghee in pan, add cumin seeds and onion, saute for 2 mins.
  5. Add garlic and saute until onion turn golden brown.
  6. Now add tomatoes, and let it turn mushy.
  7. Add chutney and spinach puree and cook this for 2-3 mins.
  8. Now add broccoli, peas and salt to taste and mix well. Cook for another 1-2 mins.
  9. Add rice and saute for a min until coated well with mixture.
  10. Transfer into serving plate, top it up with diced paneer. Sprinkle black pepper powder and red chilli flakes. Serve hot.

This is a very easy to make mild rice that goes well with a raita or veg curry. Palak rice is best to pack in lunch for toddlers and kids. To add some texture and taste I have added some paneer cubes in this palak pulao. You can also make this palak rice in a pot or pan. Spices can be adjusted as per your taste.
