- Soak the rice over night then mix with the cooked one and blend smoothly,add yeast and cover,keep in a warm place for about an hour to rise, depending on the wheather
- Add salt and sugar then mix,get any clean round object u can use a cookie cutter and dip in oil(only on the circumference),get your non-stick pan,brush a little oil on it and pour the batter and immediately put the cutter at the center then cover till it's done and remove the cutter,you'll get a bonus little round shaped sinasir under the cutter😉
- For the sauce, heat a pan with a little red and vegetable oil then pour the grinded peppers and onions with the mashed tofu,crayfish and fry(I didn't put all the tofu at once,I left some till the sauce is almost done)add the beef stock,adjust the seasoning and cover
- When it's almost done,add the spinach leaves and the remaining tofu and cover till it reaches your desired consistency.
Combine sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, and chili sauce in a small bowl. Use the white part to cook the sauce and save the green part to garnish the tofu before serving. Crispy Tofu Sisig is a dish composed of deep fried tofu cubes, chopped chili peppers, and onion. It is healthier alternative to traditional pork sisig because it does not use any meat and greasy ingredients. Keep the cooked sweet and sour sauce in a separate bowl.
