  6. Prepare 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  7. Make ready 1/4 tsp garam masala powder

  11. Take 1 inch cinnemon stick

  17. Make ready 1 tbsp ghee
Instructions to make Carrot Pulao:
  1. Wash and soaked the rice for half hour.then in a wok take two cups of water add all the whole spices except cumin seeds and fennel seeds.boil the water with spices.when water becomes boil then add soaked rice and 2 tsp salt.add 1 tsp oil and cooked the rice 90%. Then turn off the flame and strain the water.keep the rice aside.

Now take a kadhai add oil heat it then add cumin seeds and fennel seeds,saute few seconds then add chopped onion fry 2 minutes that the onion turns translucent.add green chillies and ginger garlic paste saute one minute.then add turmeric and chilli powder.add grated carrot mix well together add salt and garam masala powder.mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.stir occassionally.
  3. When the carrot is half done then add the boil rice and mixed gently. Add ghee and cook for 2 minutes and turn off the flame.the carrot rice is ready.
