- Get 1 hamburger meat (family sized package)
- Take 2 cup italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- Take 2 eggs
- Make ready 1 tbsp salt

- Take 1 tbsp garlic powder or salt
- Take 1 can tomato sauce or use your own homemade
Start by adding beef, pork, onion, garlic, parsley, breadcrumbs, eggs and cheese to a large bowl. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix with your hands until combined. These slow cooker meatballs are Italian style and made with ground beef, parmesan cheese, herbs and spices.

- Combine all ingredients except the sauce and use your hands to mix together. If I feel like it needs more spice, I will add more breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper depending on how much meat I have.

- Spoon off excess grease that rose to the top when meatballs are done cooking. Stir and then serve.
They're slow simmered to tender perfection in the crock pot and are perfect served over spaghetti or as a hearty appetizer. The meatballs were great; but, the sauce was VERY bland. This helped them retain there shape and to allow the grease to drip off. I added two additional garlic cloves but it was still bland. To make these Meatballs as a freezer meal: Make and bake the meatballs as directed above.
