Now, add the lima beans and stir it well. Cover the kadai with a lid and cook. Remove the lid when the lima beans curry is in a semi liquid form.
Instructions to make Lima beans curry:
- Make garlic and chilli paste.
- In deep bottom vessel take oil, add mustard seeds in hot oil.
- Add ginger, chilli-garlic paste, onion, stir for a minute. Add tomato and stir for two more minutes.
- Add all dry masala. Turmeric powder, red Chilli powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder. Stir for a minute.
- Add Lima seeds. Mix well. Add salt and sugar. Cover it
- Add 1/2 cup of water. Again cover and cook for few more minutes. Switch off the flame once it's done. Garnish with fresh chopped coriander leaves.serve with Roti.
Garnish it with chopped cilantro (coriander leaves). Baby lima beans tastes better than big ones. Wash the beans and cook them with water and salt until the beans become tender. If left longer, the beans will become mushy. Heat oil in a pan and splutter cumin seeds.
