Today am just sharing a simple curry using Lima Beans. I used the fresh Beans,if you didn't get then use the canned one. Dry beans also available in stores. If you are using dried ones then soak it over night and use it.
Steps to make Lima beans sabaji:
- Clean the lima beans & cut it & boil it.
- Heat oil in a kadhai add hing, cumin seeds. when cumin seeds crackels & add onion & sute to pinkish colour. add green chilli + garlic paste saute.
- Add all the dry masalas mentioned above& saute and close the lid until the oil separates.
- Add boiled lima beans and saute well, add salt and mix it well
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
This is a regular meal at our house and my MIL makes best Pavta rassa (curry) bhaji. Its very simple, easy and delicious meal to carry for tiffin. Crush garlic, green chillies, black peppercorns together in blender. Heat oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, hing, curry leaves, onion and saute till onion becomes soft. Add ground paste and cook for a minute.
