- Garnish with sour cream, green onions, reserved bacon

- Serve with jalapeno cheddar cheese bread

The addition of sharp cheddar to beer, butter and. Beer cheese soup is traditionally cream and I prefer it that way but if you want it to be a chunkier soup, you can certainly leave it as is! To much Dijon mustard in this recipe, was wasted. I used to have this all the time when I was a kid- it was a bit hit at Super Bowl parties. We always would throw in some popcorn right after serving- it gives the soup a nice crunch and helps with any bitterness.
