Making knots is a thrifty way to use scraps of dough and the leftover garlic-butter-parsley sauce most pizzerias would use for their white pizzas or garlic bread.

The ingredients needed to make Garlic knots:
  1. Take 1 lb Ball of Fresh Pizza Dough
  2. Prepare 5 Cloves Garlic
  3. Make ready 2 Tbsp Fresh Parsley
  4. Get 1/4 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  5. Make ready to taste Salt and Pepper
  6. Take Parmesan cheese

Right before baking the knots, spread them with half of the butter-garlic mixture. Take the pan out and spread knots with the remaining butter mixture. Transfer knots to a wire rack to cool completely. This is an easy and delicious pizza dough garlic knots recipe, it's so much fun to make these homemade garlic knots bread with the family!

Instructions to make Garlic knots:
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the ball of dough on a floured surface and cut it ½ inch strips. Form the knots from each strips and place them on the parchment lined baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly golden brown, meanwhile make the oil.
  4. In a small food processor, add the garlic, oil and parsley, blend until smooth.
  5. Immediately out of the oven add the knots to a large bowl and pour over the garlic oil, season with a little salt and pepper and toss together until they are well coated in the garlic oil.
  6. Notes- I used minced garlic, and Italian seasoning, with a cheap just add water pizza dough. It didn’t make much as you can see….. from the one bag…. I do have an easy recipe for pizza dough, but for this I didn’t have the time to make it and I had the bag of pizza dough to use up anyway.
  7. Add some parmesan cheese when tossing in the oil mixture….

When it comes to baking recipes, I love recipes that are simple to make, preferably with store-bought ingredients. As an Italian woman, and carb lover, I am a HUGE fan of garlic knots.
