- Take 200 gr peeled roasted chestnuts
I like to wash rice in a colander inside a mixing bowl. Add water, swirl the rice, dump the cloudy water. Place the washed rice in a rice cooker. Drain the chestnuts and sprinkle over the uncooked rice in the rice cooker.
Steps to make Chestnut Rice:
- Wash rice until the water runs clear. Combine all ingredients and pour inside a rice cooker.
- Press cook. Yes, as simple as that. Fluff the rice a bit before serving.
Do not mix at this point. Rinse rice and water becomes clear. Pour rice into a colander to drain water. Put rice in a rice cooker and add seasoning. Place chestnuts on top of rice and cook rice and chestnuts in a rice cooker.
