  12. Take 2 tbs Chili Powder
  13. Prepare 1 tbs *Spiceologist Smokey Habanero Rub (www.spiceologist.com)
  14. Make ready 3 tsp Oregano (Mexican Oregano Preferred but not necessary)
  15. Make ready 3 tsp Cumin
  16. Take 2 tsp Sea Salt (adjust to taste)
  17. Make ready 2 tsp Paprika
  18. Make ready 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  19. Prepare Bacon (crumbled for topping)
  20. Prepare Shredded Sharp Cheddar (for topping)

FOR THE MANGO-HABANERO BBQ SAUCE Heat a large saucepan to medium heat and add olive oil with onion and peppers. Add the garlic and cook another minute, until garlic becomes fragrant. Brown beef and pork in pot over medium high heat. When meat is browned, stir in the bell pepper, onion, jalapeno peppers, habanero peppers, Anaheim peppers, garlic, cumin, red pepper flakes, chili powder, bouillon, crushed tomatoes, whole tomatoes, beer, tomato paste, chile paste and water.

Instructions to make Mike's Habanero Chili:
  1. Add Olive Oil to skillet on medium heat. Add chopped Onion and Garlic and saute for 4-5 mins (until onions are translucent and the garlic starts to brown).
  2. Add the Ground Beef and brown. Drain fat.
  3. In a Crock Pot, add all ingredients, including Ground Beef Mixture.
  4. Cook on LOW for 4-5 hours (*do not cook on high…it will burn on the bottom)
  5. Serve with Crumbled Bacon and Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese (optional) or over your favorite pasta.
