  6. Place in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes then turn and bake for another 10 minutes.make sure you monitor them the second 10 minutes to make sure they don't burn. Bake longer if they aren't crispy enough. It all depends on your oven.
  7. If frying, make sure the oil is at 350 degrees and only fry for a few minutes while watching them closely. They will get too dark and/or burn. Remove from the oil and place on a rack to drain.

I like to take the mozzarella sticks and cut them in half or even thirds for making my fried cheese recipe. Then, I prepare a bowl of buttermilk, another of flour, and then a final bowl of Italian seasoned Panko crumbs. I dip the cheese sticks into the buttermilk, then into the flour, then back into the buttermilk and then finally into the crumbs.
