Their original recipe, featured on their blog and in their first book Eat Like a Dinosaur (read my review here), adds some warm spices to enhance the flavors of bacon and ground beef, formed into a patty and cooked using whatever method you like to cook burgers. This burger is their whole game, a huge menu of bovine and porcine combinations smothered in every accouterment ever put on a patty — eggs, coleslaw, french fries, barbecue sauce — an entire universe of hedonic toppings. Watch how easy it is to make this kic. Mixing seasonings into ground beef can make the burgers tough if the meat gets overworked.

- Combine all ingredients mixing well. Pat out into your desired size patty and grill fry thoroughly. These do not produce a lot of grease. Makes approx. 12.
Powered by SquarespaceSquarespace This burger brings back so many amazing memories. We were planning the menu for our barbecue for the following weekend when one of our friends launched into a story about this burger place in California that makes a beef and bacon burger. I also enjoyed their fried mac and cheese bites, which a lot of time may lack cheese, these were cheesy and perfectly fried, crunchy on the outside, gooey on the inside. Served on slate, nice presentation, which always. You would be very hard-pressed to find a beverage you don't want to try.
