  5. Take 8 oz Muenster cheese, cubed
  6. Make ready 1 packages shredded mozzarella cheese

Season generously with salt and pepper, then stir together until just combined. Add meatballs, sautéed bell pepper and marinara sauce; stir until well coated. Butter one side of the bread slices. Lightly sprinkle with garlic salt and place bread slices butter side up on a cookie sheet.

  1. In a 13 x 9 baking dish, rip the italian bread into large bite sized chunks and layer on the bottom of the dish, gently pressing down to even the layer.

  5. Bake for 25 minutes at 350.
  6. At the 25 minute mark, sprinkle the mozzarella over top on an even layer and bake for 5 to 8 minutes more until bubbly.
