- Bring to the boil, then turn down the heat and simmer gently for 40 minutes
- Peel the potatoes and slice into small chunks and place into a saucepan
- Cover them with boiling water and simmer for 20 minutes
- Pre heat oven to 180 degrees. When potatoes are soft, add milk and butter and mash them until creamy
- Place lamb mixture into ovenproof dish
- Place mash potato on top of the mixture and use a fork to spread evenly
- Bake for 20 minutes
