- Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a deep pan, add hing, curry leaves, dried red chilli once the seeds crackle add curd mixture and bring to a boil, stirring continuously.
- Add salt, lower the heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stir occasionally.
- For tempering:- Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a tadka pan, add mustard seeds/cumin seeds, kashmiri red chili powder, green chilli, curry leaves.
- Remove kadhi in the serving bowl or plate add tempering on top.
- Serve hot with steamed rice & papad.
