  1. Peel the bottle gourd and grate it with grater.
  2. Remove excess water by placing grated bottlegourd(lauki)in a muslin cloth squeeze it to remove water.
  3. Place this bottlegourd in a wok at low flame and let the water dry.Now add gheee and cook it with lid covered for 5 minutes.
  4. Add sugar and cook till the sugar gets dissolved.add ilaichi powder khoya and food color.
  5. Mix them well and cook for 5 minutes.add nuts and mix.
  6. Grease any dish or plate and place all bottlegourd barfi in it.flatten with wooden spoon and decorate with nuts.Let it set for 15 minutes than cut pieces in any shape u desire.Enjoy friend and family
