Poha with any ingredient is a simple, quick and tasty breakfast/snack option loved by all. It is very convenient to make with simple everyday ingredients.   1. Take poha and wash very nicely and drain the water completely in a sieve. Put curd in it. Mix well and keep aside for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Crumble poha with hands and add Gram flour in it and mix well. Take chopped vegetables, green chillies and mix them in poha mix.
  3. Add spices- Turmeric powder, pepper powder, chat masala, salt, red chilli powder. Mix well.
  4. Mix well and form a dough. Gram flour can be added if you find the dough a little wet. Grease katoris and put the dough evenly in Katoris.
  5. Boil water in a steamer. Place the Katoris in steamer. Sprinkle little red chilli powder on top(optional).Steam for about 10-12 minutes on low flame. You can check by inserting a knife.
  6. Take out the Katoris from steamer and demould the rings from Katori after 5 minutes.Be careful while demoulding.Demould using knife.
  7. These steamed bites can be relished as such with any chutney or can be shallow fried and enjoyed.

Combine everything and bring to to a boil. Next, add the washed, drained avalakki/poha, jaggery and salt to taste. Give it a mix, bring it to a boil.
