Once the pressure has released, remove the raw bananas. To make your very own Raw Banana Cutlets, take the raw bananas, peel off their skin and boil them. Take the potatoes and boil them as well. After that, peel and mash them also.

Instructions to make Raw(Green) Banana Cutlet:
  1. To begin with wash the bananas well.
  2. Cut them into small cubes keeping the peel (skin) intact.
  3. Again wash them and transfer to a wok/pan. Add 2 cups of water, salt and a pinch of turmeric powder. Boil them on a high flame for 10 minutes or till done.
  4. Turn off the flame and remove the boiled raw banana cubes to a plate.
  5. Take a mixing bowl. Add the boiled raw banana cubes, boiled potatoes, gram flour, turmeric powder, chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves and salt.
  6. Then mash the potatoes with banana cubes and mix it with other ingredients thoroughly to make a tight paste.
  7. Make 10-12 round balls out of the paste. Flatten them between your palms and give them a heart like shape or a shape of your choice.
  8. Heat a non-stick frying pan/skillet on medium flame. Sprinkle oil all over. Gently place the raw banana cutlets and shallow fry them from both sides until golden brown and crisp.
  9. Remove them to an absorbent paper to drain excess oil, if any.
  10. Serve raw banana cutlet hot or warm along with any chutney and some piping hot tea for your evening snack.
