Steps to make Chana Bhatura:
  1. Wash chana and chana dal and soak overnight.
  2. In the morning take a cooker and put soaked chana, amla powder and salt and pressure cook it for 20 minutes on sim after first whistle on high flame.
  3. Grind ginger, garlic and tomatoes in a mixer. Take a pan, add oil and sauté dry ingredients now add ground masala in it, fry till it leaves oil. Now add chana masala sauté it mix it in boiled chana & cook for 5 minutes.
  4. For bhatura dough, mix all the ingredients and make a smooth dough using lukewarm water and rest if for at least 2 hrs.
  5. Make balls of dough and roll it and fry in oil.
  6. Serve bhatura with chana and onion green chilli and mango pickle.
