  3. Prepare OR make gravy with onion soup mix, flour thickening,
  4. Prepare and beef broth
  5. Prepare 8 ounces fresh mushrooms
  6. Take 4 cups steamed rice

In a large bowl, combine the onion, egg, bread crumbs, milk, salt and pepper. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. It tasted like the famous IKEA Swedish meatballs but somehow even better. This will be the only gravy recipe that I use for now own.

Instructions to make Swedish Meatballs:
  1. Brown meatballs in medium hot skillet.
  2. Place browned meatballs in crockpot.
  3. Smother meatballs with brown gravy and sliced or quartered fresh mushrooms.
  4. Cook on high crockpot setting until mestballs are thoroughly cooked and gravy darkens somewhat in color.
  5. Serve over steamed white rice.
