Steps to make Veg biryani:
- Soak rice in water and do preparation for gravy for biryani
- Take pan and put 3tbsp oil. When oil become hot put onion, Ginger and garlic paste,black pepper, half TSP shahi jeera, and saute onion till golden brown
- Now put potato and cauliflower and mix well for 2 mins
- Add beans and peas And mix well. And cover the lid and let it half cook for 10mins
- After 10mins add red chilli powder, dhaniya powder,garam masala powder and keep stirring it for 2 mins
- Now add curd in the gravy, and cook it for 2 mins.
- Curd should be smooth, no lumps should be there.and cover the lid till we cook the rice
- Put rice to boil on gas, make sure it should be half boiled
- When u cook rice don't forget to put bay leaf, black pepper, cloves,green cardamom,salt
- When rice is half cooked, take out extra water and separate the rice.
- We will be making biryani in 4layer
- Take handi for biryani
- Put one layer of rice and another layer of gravy, and pour Kesar strands milk over it and fry onion over it,
- Repeat the layers in same way. You will get 2layera of rice and 2 layers of gravy.and cover the lid and locked it with wheat atta from the sides or from the foil.
- Put it on a gas if the sole of ur handi is hard, or you can put it on tawa aslo so that ur rice not burn
- Keep it on gas for for 15-20 mins on low flame.
- Biryani is best served with veg raita.
