  8. The whole mixture should be this tangerine color with a smooth consistency
  9. Prepare your baking tin with margarine and flour then bake the cake for 45 mins at 180 degrees until it browns well
  10. Serve with hot tea 😊

Add all the ingredients to a blender except the flour and baking powder. Blend well till the carrot is totally blended in. If it gets too difficult in the blender, transfer to a bowl and mix the flour in by hand. Add the baking powder last and mix in just to combine. I like using all-purpose flour, but you can substitute some of the all-purpose flour for whole wheat or white whole wheat flour.
