- Make ready 250 g self raising flour
- Get 1 tea spoon cardamom
- Prepare 1/2 glass sugar (50g)

Instructions to make Mandazi:
- Mix your flour, sugar and cardamom and stir.
- Add water and mix with your hands untill the desired texture then leave the dough for about 30mins.

- When ready pick the cooked mandazi from the oil and put in a container to cool and drip extra oil.
- Pack the mandazi in paper bags while still warm to keep them moist to eat at any time.
- Note: The time for deep frying varies because the cooking oil temperature changes after every cook.
