Another delicious find from Great British Cooking. Whisk milk, eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla together in a bowl until completely combined. Place cups in a baking pan and fill pan with enough hot water to reach halfway up the sides of the custard cups. Our custard recipes are creamy, custardy goodness.

Instructions to make Custard:
  1. Take a vessel and add milk to it.
  2. Bring it to a boil and let it thicken for 5minutes.
  3. Now add custard powder and sugar to the boiling milk and let it thicken for another 5minutes.
  4. Once the mixture thickens add saffron to it to give it a nice colour and then after 1minute turn off the gas and cool it for sometime.
  5. Note:the more the mixture cools the more it'll thicken.
  6. Now when the mixture cools down u can add milk made as per your taste.
  7. Add cardamom powder to it.
  8. Keep it inside the refrigerator for 2-3hrs again.
  9. Now take a bowl and put fruits in it with little amount of liquid custard to it.
  10. Now put the liquid on to the fruit bowl again and garnish it with dry fruits and jelly and serve it cool.
